Project three has become a large undertaking, not only because I plan on doing a video essay, but also because there is so much content on the Flint Water Crisis to read and understand. However, with this schedule, I think it has become a bit more manageable. As long as I stick to the
schedule, I will be able to complete the video essay in time.
Your schedule is very well worked out in terms of dates, and what you want to get done, I'm concerned that you didn't really plan out locations to film. Filming solely say in the dorm would be monotonous for viewers. Along with that you don't want to film somewhere too loud or too busy because then it might be too distracting.
ReplyDeleteMy blog post about your blog post: http://alexisann-uofa.blogspot.com/2016/04/peer-review-of-gabby-dietrich.html
Keep up the good work! Good luck on your project!
I think that your production schedule looks solid, and I think that you're right about the fact that if you work on little bits at a time and just keep plugging along you're going to no doubt finish on time.
ReplyDeleteWhat worries me is the lack of location for your project and possibly the lack of resources. I don't know what your resources are as far as technology go, however I would really recommend filming on a high quality camera, it really makes a huge difference while watching the video. I personally think that iMovie is an excellent video editing resource for what we need to do for this class and thats what I plan on using myself. I agree with Alexis in that you should definitely try and vary your location a little bit. You could reserve a study room in the library maybe, or you could use the study rooms in your dorm if they are available.
